When Barb, my sister-in-law, and Katie, her daughter, and her friend Kylie visited England recently, we spent a day at Umberslade Farm to see the baby animals. These little lambs are being hand-reared because their mothers abandoned them. The farmer told us the sheep know instinctively if they do not have enough milk to raise the baby, or sometimes they accidently sit on them! These were precious and we got to feed them. There's a "Lamb Cam" on their web site. We also loved the bunnies and I loved on a white rat (those who know me well will not be surprised - I had a pet mouse, Squeeky, as a kid). The large horse was one of four living on the farm. In summer, they earn their keep by pulling visitors around the farm in a big cart. They are massive and stubborn. Scroll below for more cuteness.
